What to Bring Along

Birth Certificate

A certified copy of the learner's birth certificate is required for official registration with the Ministry of Education.

Previous School Report (Grade 2+)

Learners joining Grade 2 and above should bring their most recent school report or Learner Progress Report from their previous school.

Passport Photographs

Three recent passport-size photographs of the learner are required for registration and school records.

Parent/Guardian ID

A copy of the parent or guardian's National ID or Passport is required for our records and emergency contact information.

Admissions FAQ

Children joining Play Group should be at least 3 years old by January of the year they are enrolling. PP1 entry age is 4 years, and PP2 is 5 years, as per Kenya's CBC guidelines.
Yes, we accept learner transfers at the start of each term and on a case-by-case basis mid-term, subject to space availability in the specific class. Contact us to discuss your child's transfer needs.
Our fees are competitive and structured to be affordable for families in our community. Fee structures vary by grade level and whether the learner is a day scholar or boarder. Please contact us directly or download the current fee structure from our Downloads page for detailed information.
Our school bus currently covers routes in Nthongoni, Kwa Vonza, Kanyangi Road, and surrounding areas of Lower Yatta. Contact our office with your specific location, and we will advise you on the nearest pick-up point and transport fees.
Boarding is available for learners from Grade 1 upwards. We have separate, supervised dormitories for boys and girls. Boarding fees cover accommodation, three meals daily, evening prep, and house parent supervision.
Yes. The Success Haven School is a fully CBC-compliant institution. All our teachers are trained in CBC delivery and assessment. We implement the curriculum from Play Group through to Grade 9, including the Junior Secondary CBC pathways.
We are committed to making education accessible. In cases of genuine financial hardship, the school management is open to discussing flexible fee payment arrangements on a case-by-case basis. Please speak confidentially with the Director.
The Success Haven School has a distinctive green and white uniform. Boys wear green trousers, a white shirt, and a green sweater. Girls wear a green checked skirt or dress and a green sweater. A full uniform list with recommended suppliers is provided upon registration.
Yes, we have an active and supportive Parents Association. Parents are encouraged to participate in school meetings, events, and community service activities. The PTA meets at least once per term, and all parents are members automatically upon enrolment.
Our low teacher-to-learner ratio means teachers can identify and address learning gaps quickly. We offer remedial sessions for learners who need extra support, and our guidance and counselling services address both academic and social-emotional challenges. Parents are kept informed and involved throughout.
